through innovative holistic and multi-disciplinary approach.

We create site specific design responding to time, place and context.
We wish design to act like a tuning fork
facilitating unique basic tones of the spaces and releasing unresolved qualities,
let hidden stories come forth and/or promote other perspectives accordingly.

The German philosopher Gernot Bøhme writes
that we when we touch materials feel ourselves as sentient beings;

As we touch materials, the materials touch us.
Beneath the touch, we sense the surrounding material, but simultaneously learn how we (our own flesh and blood)
are touched by our surroundings. In the meeting with materials, then, we sense ourselves. (B

We wish to create spaces which concern us and speak to us,
our bodies, senses and emotions
urging us to embrace them.

THE CONCRETE DESIGN ACADEMY wants through design and teaching
to create spaces where we feel ourselves as sentient human beings
and as a result hereof act with empathy, altruism and responsibility in the world.
